We Love it here !!! There is something to do for all ages, over 160 acres of fun from the swimming pond, ,fishing pond ,jumping pillow , the trails and weekend activities . The sites are HUGE !!! great fun family campground.

The first time I came to Annie's, I thought that we had found the campground for my family! It looked so great that I didn't think anything about it when Annie told us about all the open sites, and that she just kicked out a group of troublemakers that needed to go. I didn't think twice about it when the weekend that I moved my camper into the campground, I had to talk to the sheriff's department because my wife and I witnessed a disgruntled camper fighting with Annie. Since that start, I know of a permanent that had run into another permanent's camper while she was drunk. The solution to this was to move her to a different site in the campground. Fast forward a couple month, the same person was coming home from the bar drunk and rammed her golf cart into a large boulder. There was a 2-year-old in the cart with her that was injured. Annie still did not remove her from the campground. She was allowed to stay through the rest of the season. Earlier this year, Annie was partying with one of the groups that helped her set up her swimming pool earlier in the day. After drinking with them for hours, she suddenly turned on them and informed them that their contracts would not be renewed. Now, we find ourselves and our friends being labeled as the troublemakers. According to Annie, we allow our children to drive our golf cart, and break the quiet time. I guess this is much worse than driving drunk through the campground and injuring children. However, we may not agree with all of Annie’s rules we followed them all as it is her campground. Our children haven’t driven a golf cart in more than a year. And, nightly we would turn our music off by 10:59 PM after Alleluia has played.

Now don’t get me wrong, not everything about the campground is bad. The people you meet there are often fun loving and care for each other but it stings to know that management sees your business as just another dollar in the bank account. The sites are also often nice until another site is placed right on top of you which has had the tendency to overload the power grid. The campground has plenty of potential, just not the proper people looking over it’s expansion upkeep and daily operations.

Poorly put together campground with absolutely no professional management to be found. Its a miracle that a campground run by an individual so rude and inconsiderate to both its permanent and short visit campers is still in business.

Great staff, a lot of different stuff to do all the time. Fun for young kids older kids and adults. Guess we were lucky to get a wooded site wouldn't want one of the grassy ones

When you finally have enough and decide to take your money elsewhere the campground management will turn against you and spread rumors and lies about how you were. Not to mention the management often attempts to void contracts and camper agreements to play in their favor. Simply look at the comments on negative reviews on this page, all those responses are written directly by the owner of Annie's campground.

If you are considering becoming a permanent camper at Annie’s, I would like you to ask yourself a few questions… 1) Do good campgrounds have close to 30 permanents leaving annually? In my experience, there is a very long waiting list for the good campgrounds. Call Vista Royalle and ask if they have any open sites. 2) Do family friendly campgrounds have all events revolving around their bar? Where is the meeting location for any event including the kid’s costume contest at Annie’s? The bar (aka the pavilion). Annually on Labor Day weekend, Annie’s has a drunken blindfolded golf cart race, with the fastest driver taking all the beer that was collected as an entrance fee. Family friendly! 3) Will friends and family want to come and visit? At Annie’s, it is $5/person/day (unless you want to swim, then it is $10), $5/vehicle, and $10/pet. OUCH!

We were permanents here for quite a few years but we recently moved out and it is 100% because of the owner. She is insane for too many reasons to list, and we simply couldn't handle the drama any longer, so we left, as well as 27 other seasonals. So think hard about staying here, would not recommend

I believe every small business deserves a fair review as they are the backbone of this country but with that in mind every business receives the reviews that they deserve. If you want to enjoy a nice time away from society and enjoy a nice camping trip, I would highly recommend you pass on Annie’s Campground.

If you are looking for a family friendly weekend, I would look elsewhere as you will not be able to afford the visit here!

Additionally, its not even worth voicing your concerns to the management as they are so disorganized and unapologetic that they will not only not resolve the issue but also insist that you are at fault for it. If you want stuff done in a timely manner and/or properly you are often better off doing it on your own at Annie's.

This review is based off several years of frustration caused by the campground through a permanent site and weekend guest of the campground. It is understandable that all businesses will have hiccups along the way but this is more than just growing pains.

We are much happier at our new campground. It is quieter, and there is a lot less crazy there.

Sadly, the owner of the campground is almost always unprofessional and rude to guest of the campground who chose to spend their hard earned money here. Prices are straight out of a toy story movie as they are to infinity and beyond and certainly not priced accordingly to the poorly taken care of attractions.
